Help
New Game:
A timing bar will appear at one of the four sides of the game grid, indicating where you should begin stacking your active pieces to form solid lines along the side of the grid.
Rotating:
To rotate active pieces into a desired orientation, click anywhere on the game grid.
Moving:
To move active pieces from the middle of the grid to the outside edges, click and drag along the grid until the active pieces seat against the grid boarder or other seated pieces.
Scoring:
When you complete a solid line along the indicated side of the grid; the completed line disappears, the remaining pieces shift from the middle of the grid toward the outside edges, and the timing bar (or indicator) will randomly choose a side of the grid for you to continue or begin stacking pieces. SCRAP! gives 100 points for each line completed, and an additional bonus of five (5) points for each line after the first in a turn.
Leveling:
Each solid line along the indicated side of the grid counts toward the total score. As the score increases, so will the difficulty level. With each level, the timing bar begins to count down faster, allowing less time to place active pieces.
Next Piece Box:
The NEXT PIECE box will show you the piece to be active after you seat the one you are playing with. This box also has an added feature. When you see a piece that you can use right away, simply click the NEXT PIECE box, and your currently active piece will be replaced by the piece from the NEXT PIECE box, while the previously active piece will be sent to the SCRAP box. Keep in mind, that although your active piece has been replaced with one from the NEXT PIECE box, the timer doesn’t stop/reset! You will still be required to maneuver and place the NEW active piece before the original timer runs out.
Scrap Box:
If the timer runs out on a piece (either intentionally, or accidentally), or if you have elected to voluntarily send a piece to the SCRAP box (see NEXT PIECE above), the piece will show up here. At any point during the game, you can tap the SCRAP box, and the piece that is at the top of the SCRAP PILE will move to the NEXT PIECE box for you to use. However, there IS a limited amount of SCRAP that you can have. Any more than ten (10) pieces, and the game ends.
